Pascal Pahl is a multi-faceted artist as a multi-instrumentalist with his background playing drums, piano, trumpet, and predominantly voice, but finds most of his artistic outlet as an audio engineer/producer.

Recently, he has been recognized as a finalist for the National YoungArts Foundation for two consecutive years; he was also awarded “Most Outstanding Soloist” for his scat improvisation on “Indiana/Donna Lee”, sang by the 2017 Jacobs School of Music Vocal Jazz Ensemble 1. After finishing his studies in Audio Engineering & Sound Production with a minor in Jazz Studies – Voice, Pascal is moving his Chicago base to New York City, where he will be working contracted hires for both audio and jazz.

Rooted in the art of improvisation and collaboration, the Pascal Pahl Collective is an ever-so-changing group that serves to experience the spontaneity of the art form. In it’s current standing, the Pascal Pahl Collective will feature Sam Bryson on drums, Simon Ciaccio on bass, Alex Murphy on piano, and Pascal Pahl on voice/flugelhorn.
